The Restaurant

Imagine… Looking out through the large bay window of the restaurant, one can see the extensive gardens of this Georgian Hotel and Restaurant where, in the Summertime, amidst the variety of shrubbery and flowers and fruit trees lining the walls, you will be able to eat ‘al-fresco’ Inside, as you might expect, a traditional country house welcomes you and all guests where the atmosphere is both relaxing and attentive. Our produce is locally sourced.

Our fish is delivered daily from Brixham and we are proud to offer the finest, the freshest and the best that our waters have to offer. Our cheeses from Devon, Dorset, Cornwall and Somerset; greengrocery from our market-gardener in Ilminster; game from Bonners, local lamb and beef from S&C Butchery in Taunton; and when in season, our very own new-potatoes, beans, marrows, figs, quinces, damsons, cherries, apples, plums, asparagus, raspberries and of course, eggs from our flocks of geese, duck and chicken
